Based out of Falkirk Depot and also covering Durham
2 nights away, every other week in Durham, fully expensed.
Managing your own time.
Experience within the Palletised Transport and Logistics sectors would be preferred
The Role - Business Development Manager
New Business and Account management, selling freight solutions.
Managing a Portfolio of accounts worth £6 Million for both depots
Seeking a self-motivated, customer focused approach is essential for this wide-ranging role which requires drive and determination to seek out and develop self-generated leads against agreed new business targets, together with account management.
- To personally visit a minimum number of prospects within your territory as agreed with your Regional Sales Manager.
- To personally visit a minimum number of existing customers within your Dual territory as agreed with your Regional Sales Manager
- To sell within a pre-determined geographical region, so as to fully utilise the local fleet at your depots.
- To maintain an agreed minimum number of Major Prospects within your territory, and offer solutions to gain such business.
- All information appertaining to visits to prospects and existing customers alike are to be recorded via your CRM portal.
- Assist with the achievement of the depot targets within your remit – No of pallets collected, Revenue per pallet & Monthly depot revenue targets.
Duties - Business Develpment Manager
- Manage the depot’s business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Contact on a daily basis, your Regional Sales Manager to discuss the successes of the day, and any areas of improvement associated with your depot and customers.
