RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a bar known for it's casual, relaxed restaurant and bar located in Canonmills within walking distance of the botanic gardens.

We offers classic meals with a modern touch, using locally sourced seasonal produce. In addition, we offer a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits, with an extensive range of whiskies.

As part of our established team, we are looking to hire a Deputy Manager.

About You

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and are seeking an assistant position where they will be comfortable leading a team of experienced staff in a fast-paced environment.

Once settled in, the successful candidate will likely work under the General Manager for a period and be asked to perform relief manager duties to cover general manager holidays. Additionally, in 2025 or 2026, there will be scope for progression to the General Manager position.

Skills and Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience as a manager or supervisor in a bar/restaurant
• Must be available to work weekdays and weekends.
• Having café, restaurant, and bar experience
• All round experience on the bar, the floor and the kitchen
• Licence holder would be preferable although training will be provided
• Zonal Aztec system experience would be helpful
