We are currently recruiting for a Managing Consultant in our Aberdeen office. The role will be focusing on Permanent recruitment within our Energy/Energy Transition team. This role will involve management of both existing business and development of new opportunities.
This is a real opportunity to build your own business, with the support of a company who has sector experience of over 15 years.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving the permanent recruitment division, by;
- Delivering on roles released from established clients.
- Developing new perm business opportunities by creating leads and working closely with BD Manager to progress those.
- Negotiating commercial terms in line with company standards.
- Management of small team – ensuring they are supported to succeed by regularly monitoring their progress using data, holding 121 and team meetings.
- Internal reporting, including recruitment and sales activities, and pipeline.
- Acts in line with NES Fircroft code of conduct and HSE policy at all times
- Additional responsibilities as delegated in line with company needs
To be considered you need:
- 5+ years’ experience in energy recruitment & business development.
- Experience of managing a team of up to 5 people.
- Thorough understanding of the UK energy landscape, particularly within the Aberdeen & London Energy markets
- Enjoy deploying creative sourcing methods and can create a strong presence on social media to educate about NES Fircroft’s opportunities and initiatives
- Can build credible relationships with candidates and clients, demonstrating knowledge of the sector and the market conditions that affect and influence roles and rates
- To be personable with strong communication skills
- To have the ability to work independently and prioritise your time efficiently
- To be a team player
