Job Profile:

The purpose of this role is to provide Capital Project support for a manufacturing client based in Scotland. The project values could be anywhere from £5,000 - £20m and you would be expected to manage between 8-12 projects at any one time.

These projects will mainly be of an electrical or mechanical nature so ideally the successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with sufficient experience across a variety of industries.

Duties:

• Development of requirement specifications in collaboration with other teams such as Operations.

• Use specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.

• Development of cost estimates and project schedules.

• Managing efficient spend for capex projects.

• Co-ordinating and managing external resources.

• Manage the project lifecycle including capital approval, maintaining accurate financial data including spend and forecast and project closure.

• Manage construction activities and overseeing commissioning activities.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
