Overview of Buyer Role:

To negotiate and manage the procurement function and negotiate priced agreements on behalf of Everwarm ensuring best value for money at all times and adherence to the group supply chain strategies and purchasing policy.

Key Responsibilities of Buyer:

• Developing awareness of legislation affecting Procurement & Commercial activities.
• Understanding of purchasing processes.
• Assist in the execution of the full contract cycle.
• Understanding of the purchasing policy and processes
• Takes cognizance of relationships within the internal team and with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of the tendering process

Key Performance Indicators:

• Contribution to the Procurement Key Performance Indicators to assist the departments annual targets.
• Contribution to tendering and contract review process.
• Prompt agreement of changes and budget increases / payment.
• Contribution to the timely production of purchasing and procurement information.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Studying to degree or have HND/HNC level or CIPS Level 3.
• Previous relevant work experience, minimum 2yrs.
• Literate and numerate team player
• IT skills including Word, Excel, Power point.
