What Are We Looking For?

Our Muir of Ord office is looking for a Procurement Administrator to join the business on a permanent basis, to support the Procurement and Supply Chain team. Although you would be joining the business as an Administrator there is a great opportunity for progression within your career to develop into a Buyer and work with one of the most prominent businesses in the north of Scotland, servicing the Water industry across the UK.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Manage the process of approving new vendors and maintaining our Approved Supplier List.
  • Maintain the Procurement’s Intranet site and manage the filing of supplier correspondence and documentation.
  • Managing correspondence through our internal email inboxes whilst also liaising with a range of other stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Maintain and update the online procurement catalogue when it becomes live
  • Performing other duties to support the Procurement team as required.

What Do You Need?

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills essential.
  • Have a very good administration knowledge and skills.
  • Be able to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Be able to work to deadlines to produce work to a high standard.
  • Be a clear and concise communicator maintaining a polite and professional manner.
  • Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Be able to work well within a team environment.
