Role Description: Currently seeking a committed and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and foster a secure working environment across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the existing Safety management system to meet site-specific needs while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Offer specialised expertise and support in Health & Safety to site personnel.
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of the Safety training program.
  • Collaborate with other sites to exchange best practices, implement the safety vision, and achieve the Company’s Health & Safety Policy objectives.
  • Assist in creating systems that encourage personal ownership of Safety.
  • Develop a robust Process Safety Management System and advocate for a culture of impeccable Process Safety Performance on site.
  • Lead High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training initiatives.
  • Conduct Hazard and Operability Studies on critical processes and all new investments/significant changes.
  • Act as the owner of the Safety Steering Committee, providing clear direction for leaders and all safety sub-committees.
  • Manage Change Ownership for Personal and Process Safety.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualification (desirable).
  • Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH or equivalent).
