Anderson Knight is currently seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join a well-established company based in Glasgow.
In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration of client and company materials.
The position is office-based, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. With the added perks of onsite parking and dress-down Fridays.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of materials procurement.
• Resolve supplier invoice queries promptly.
• Implement effective controls to track outstanding purchase orders.
• Understand the diverse requirements for Service clients' accounting.
• Maintain consistent and productive communication with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, supervisors, and management to facilitate work control within specified SLAs.
• Compile and update progress and status reports for clients or their representatives in the respective systems.
• Verify the correct usage of product coding for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Ensure the proper filing of supporting documentation through scanning.
• Record legislative documentation in compliance with client/company recommendations.
Key Attributes and Skills:
• Proficient in FIFO, stock replenishment, and precise retention and updating of data.
• Extensive administration knowledge of Excel and Microsoft packages.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and remaining calm under pressure.
• Preferred, though not essential: experience in the service industry.
• Ability to build excellent rapport with customers and team members.
