TM Scotland East Kilbride & Glasgow branch are excited to be recruiting for our brand new client based in the heart of East Kilbride who are a leading provider of high-quality red meat products.

Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator for their site in East Kilbride who has worked in a similar environment before to add to their team on a permanent basis, following successful interview with TM and the client directly.

The successful applicant will play a vital role in maintaining effective client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring timely deliveries to maximize customer satisfaction.

What will your duties and responsibilities be as a sales administrator?

  • Support the achievement of our client’s sales targets for specified accounts.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with focus customers, facilitating sales processes and administering contracts to maintain our client’s strategic position.
  • Provide administrative support for demand forecasting, collaborating with purchasing and supply teams.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding the customer base to increase market share.
  • Provide valuable customer insights to inform business strategies and implement corrective plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and administrative records.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against customer expectations, utilizing Account KPIs.
  • Assist in preparing annual budget and profit business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements, including Food Safety and Health & Safety.
  • Drive personal and team performance, efficiency, and employee engagement.
  • Support skill development and flexibility for self and team members, fostering results-oriented relationships.
  • Support trainee development to ensure a skilled workforce for the future.

  • Proficiency in numeracy, IT, and report writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with commercial acumen, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Thrives in challenging and varied environments.
  • Attention to detail and proactive in workload management.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and supportive of others' development.
  • Accreditation in Food Hygiene (minimum Level 2 or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
