Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Dundee

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Industry: Manufacturing within Oil and Gas

Key Responsibilities:

- Manufacturing Records Creation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of all manufacturing records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Pressure Test Data Review: Support the review of pressure test data, ensuring all information is correctly documented and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Flushing Reports Collation: Gather and compile flushing reports from various sources, ensuring completeness and readiness for review.
- Documentation Submission: Prepare and submit documentation requiring customer review and approval, maintaining professional communication and adherence to deadlines.
- Departmental Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between departments to ascertain the status and progress of required information, facilitating smooth and efficient information flow.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update the MC (Manufacturing Control) database to ensure current and accurate records are accessible.
- Production Task Updates: Update internal production tasks, reflecting the latest developments and ensuring synchronisation across departments.
- MRB and COC Database Management: Maintain and update the Material Review Board (MRB) and Certificate of Conformance (COC) databases, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience in a document control role within the manufacturing sector, preferably in oil and gas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management.
- Proficiency in database management and standard office software.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
- Understanding of industry-specific documentation and standards is a plus.
