FPS are recruiting for an experienced Estimator for our prestigious construction client in the Glasgow area.
A construction company known for excellence. Due to continued growth within the business, they are looking to add to their Estimating team.
Overview:
- Location: Glasgow
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Role: Estimator Contribute to our project success by preparing precise cost estimates and competitive bids.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse project specs and drawings
- Collaborate with stakeholders
- Evaluate costs and develop budgets
- Mitigate risks and recommend strategies
- Present estimates to clients
- Stay updated on industry trends
- Participate in bid negotiations
Qualifications:
- A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related subject
- Proven construction Estimator experience - preferably with a Main Contractor
- Analytical and math skills
- Estimation software proficiency
- Strong communication and negotiation
- Attention to detail
- Construction knowledge
- Team player
