Account Manager

Job Type: Full time permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car allowance

Location(s): National (Across Scotland)

The role:

• The Invictus Group are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager to head up a contract for a leading client within the Building Services industry. This role covers sites across Scotland.

The responsibilities:

• To undertake the role of Account Manager for the allocated sites and ensure that the site staff are carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently, in accordance to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Contribute to the growth of all services in order to meet client and commercial expectations whilst maintaining strict budgetary control within operational business area in line with our client’s expectations.
• To effectively manage the contract ensuring all FM services are deliver the agreed services within budget restraints and to the standard required.
• To take responsibility for the co-ordination of all services, making sure the FM services are meeting the contract requirements. Manage resources to optimise our profit levels and reduce operating costs.
• Oversee the on-site teams ensuring they carry out their roles professionally and to the required standard within the business and supporting the team.  To action team engagement forums, staff questionnaires and feedback sessions.
• Assist the management team in the management of Sub-Contracts ensuring value for money and compliance with contract specifications are delivered.
• Manage and monitor site activities in relation to health and safety standards ensuring site safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities.
• Deliver site reporting requirements, produce accurate and punctual monthly internal and external reports advising on financial and operational status of the contract, together with quality, health, safety, and human resources issues.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with leading a large team in a diverse workplace (desirable)
• IOSH / NEBOSH (essential)
• Full UK drivers license (essential)
• Educated to degree level (desirable)
• Member of a professional body – IWFM (desirable)
• Strong and confident leader (essential)
• City & Guilds / HND in a technical trade (desirable)
