Our client is a leading construction company specializing in cladding, facades and roofing projects. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Office Manager to support our operations and contribute to our success.
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager for our client to oversee the administrative and operational functions of our office. The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our day-to-day activities, managing administrative staff, and providing support to our project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage office operations, including but not limited to, answering phones, handling correspondence, filing, and organizing office supplies.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events for management and staff.
- Maintain and update employee records, including timekeeping, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Assist with project management tasks, such as preparing project documents, tracking project expenses, and liaising with clients and subcontractors.
- Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee procurement of office equipment, supplies, and services, negotiating contracts and agreements as necessary.
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software applications.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
